Hotel Marinedda, smart and stylish, is especially suited for a wellness and relaxation holiday, for singles, couples and families alike. Indeed it offers a beautiful marine environment, an enchanting beach you can reach with a short stroll, two fine swimming pools, an enjoyable Wellness Centre with several pools and kids’ club. The Rooms
The Hotel is set in a privileged location, overlooking one of the most spectacular sea views in Sardinia. Its top-notch Thalasso Centre and Spa make it the ideal destination for a wellness and relaxation-oriented holiday.

195 rooms on the ground and first floors, furnished in typical Mediterranean style and well finished with chestnut beams and local exposed stone on external surfaces.

Sometimes, reservation is necessary, children can have their meal with the Staff ( extra charge at brunch-time for those Guests on half board basis )

In the hotel, throughout your stay, cash payments are not permitted; instead a prepaid card issued by reception is used. You will be reimbursed for any unused credit on departure. This is a practical, safe payment method, since in case of loss, unlike money, the card can be immediately blocked and replaced, transferring the existing credit from the lost card to the new one.

In 480 B.C. Euripides wrote that “the sea heals human diseases” and Hippocrates, the father of medicine, expounded the many benefits of sea water in his famous “Treatise”.

The micro-organisms, salts, minerals and trace elements present in sea water, the iodine-rich air, seaweed and sea mud have a wealth of properties promoting health and beauty.

Thalassotherapy is best described as the wise combined use of the various active principles contained in the marine environment to obtain natural beneficial effects for both the body (toning and firming, energising, fluid draining action) and the mind, thanks to its anti-stress effect. Our Marinedda Centre draws on sea water of excellent quality thanks to the uncontaminated Sardinian sea and the currents of the Bonifacio Straits, ensuring constant sea water renewal. The Delphina treatments are moreover enriched with selected essential oils from the aromatic herbs of Sardinia, which help infuse our bodies with zest and vigour. The scent of these plants mingled with the salty pure winds reach right to our hearts, generating the feeling known as "longing for Sardinia" and will fill you with sweet memories and the wish to return to this dream island.

The Centre, with its 2500 m² treatment areas wholly devoted to Thalassotherapy, beauty and wellness offers:

A medical certificate is required guaranteeing an acceptable state of health for treatments and equipment use. Alternatively a medical examination is available on site (payable and upon reservation). For ladies expecting a baby, specific packets are recommended which exclude certain treatments. Children under 18 are not allowed except those over 15 if accompanied by their parents or with written authorization from the same.

The Sea
About 250 m from the hotel (300-500 m from the rooms) stretches the fabulous free access beach of Marinedda, where you can also rent sun umbrellas and sun loungers and take sailing lessons (payable services).

Those who love quiet strolls can explore the charming red rock coves on the two sides of the beach, framing transparent waters such as only Sardinia can offer, and backed by unspoilt, perfumed natural vegetation.

From Isola Rossa (about 1 km away) in five minutes by inflatable boat or a 30-minute walk you can reach the endless, wild beach of Badesi where naturist swimming or sunbathing are possible, or you can enjoy gathering seashells and driftwood tossed onto the shore by the Mistral wind.

Excursions
Excursions are wonderful opportunities to discover local culture, new beaches and places and to indulge in some shopping. Using your own or Delphina’s vehicles, explore fascinating towns and places full of history and interest.

Mediterranean Brunch
From 12.30 to 2.00 pm in the main restaurant. To enjoy a light lunch without forsaking the pleasures of tasty food, a buffet* of warm pasta dishes, cold dishes by our Chef based on cereals, pulses, vegetables and an array of salads, fruit and local cheeses.

Brunch does not include the classic fish and meat main courses.

The main restaurant “Petra Ruja”, with a stunning view over the bay, offers excellent buffets with regional and international dishes, as well as theme dinners.In the low season, management may replace the buffet with table service.
