A Hotel With History
Bremen´s Bürgerpark or "citizens´ (public) park" is not just an impressive achievement in 19th century landscape gardening but also one of the first "Volksgärten" ("people´s gardens") to be created
for Germany´s urban population. Where the Park Hotel Bremen now stands, there originally stood a little house.
It was in 1873, in fact, two years after the formation of the first German unification that the first simple house was built on the site of the today´s great hotel. In 1890, though, it was demolished
to make way for a splendid town house built for a special exhibition. But even this building was to survive for only 17 years before burning to the ground as a result of an over-enthusiastic firework
display.
Six years passed before a third house opened its doors in the same location. A few decades later, however, the bombs of the 2nd World War reached the Bürgerpark and brought ruin to this third house,
too.
With the new start of the post-war period, it was therefore decided that something special should be created in the "people´s park". For this reason the architectural team of Anker and Rosenbusch
designed a building in the style of a duke´s country residence. So it was that in May 1956 the Park Hotel Bremen was officially opened. Since then our great hotel has been a special place of rest and
relaxation – an exclusive location to escape from the tumult of our daily lives.

Comfort
Each of our 50 "Comfort" rooms is individually designed to offer guests a relaxed atmosphere. Unwind and enjoy the wide views across Bremen’s famous “Bürgerpark“ or the waters of the romantic
Hollersee.
Elegant furnishings and fine fabrics contribute to the harmonious and refined style of our “Comfort” rooms. The cool Nordic colours, such as sunflower yellow, sea blue, and grass green, also help to
create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
You can choose from a total of 26 single and 24 double rooms, selecting – depending on current availability – from either a parkland or lake view. And, of course, certain rooms have been set aside
for non-smokers.

Superior
The “Superior” rooms at the Park Hotel Bremen have a very special ambience: each and every one is the creation of a renowned interior designer, who was given the freedom to imprint the rooms with his
or her style.
All of our “Superior” rooms are located in the elegant surroundings of our main building and were each individually redesigned during 2003 and 2004 by leading designers, such as Konrad
Ellerhorst.
You can choose from between 49 single and 32 double rooms, and of these 49 have been set aside for non-smokers. Depending on availability you can opt for a room with a view over the parkland or the
lake. Every room on the second floor also has access to its own balcony – an ideal location from which to enjoy the lovely views.

De Luxe
In the east wing of the Park Hotel Bremen are situated our “De Luxe” rooms, completed in 2004. A sophisticated design and modern, harmonious colour-schemes form the setting for a relaxing stay at the
hotel.
The distinctive style of the renowned interior designer Graf Pilati is evident in each of the hotel´s 24 “De Luxe” rooms, thanks to his unmistakable choice of forms and colours. Warm shades of beige
and cream alternate with a refreshing minty green, to complement to elegant lines of the furnishings.
You can choose from among 24 light-filled double rooms, all of which are fully air-conditioned and 18 of which have been set aside for non-smokers. Depending on availability you can opt for a room
with a view over the parkland or the lake.

Juniorsuite
Each of the seven “Junior” suites at the Park Hotel Bremen follows a unique, specially themed interior design scheme. Maybe you´d prefer to relax in an atmosphere of “Nordic” cool or “Old English”
style? Well, here you have the choice.
What about staying in the namibian “Windhoek” – Junior suite that will intoxicate you with its warm African colours and design? Or maybe you´d prefer the nordic warm yellow tints of the “Anderson”
Junior suite, or the plushness of the “Balzac” style? Are you someone that favours classical English design or is oriental minimalism more your cup of tea?
Each of the seven generously proportioned “Junior” suites is individually designed to the highest possible standards. The living and sleeping areas are connected by an archway, giving you plenty of
room to relax. And in the bathrooms – luxuriously fitted with different varieties of marble – you’ll find it very easy to unwind.

Suiten
The eleven standard suites in our great hotel are generously proportioned rooms, each elegantly appointed and furnished with stylish antiques and luxurious fabrics to create an atmosphere of real
peace and comfort.
You can choose from “Comfort” suites in our main building or “De Luxe” Suites in our newer wing, opened in June 2004. In the “Park” suite, for example, you can enjoy a fantastic view over the
“Bürgerpark” or watch a movie on the TV while relaxing in the Colani-designed bathtub. Our “Presidential Suite”, too, also offers an especially comfortable ambience.
All eleven suites are individually furnished, with separate living and sleeping areas and their own balcony (except for suites in the Cupola area). If you enjoy the special things in life, then these

- a new three-part wine cellar with whites, reds and champagnes together with a separate Sauternes cellar
- a walk-in day cellar for Sauternes within the restaurant
- a special Sauternes wine list with more than 150 different items
A separate Sauternes wine list offers our guests more than 150 items stored within the vaults of our hotel and the walk-in day cellar of the restaurant. This bitter-sweet wine is based on the
Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes and comes from the world´s most famous region for sweet wines. The spectrum ranges from Chateau Tuyttens to 1949 Chateau d´Yquem. Several premier grand cru
vintages are served by the glass and a number of imperials containing six litres are available for that special occasion. Special à la carte dishes and a Sauternes dégustation menu complete the
