5*****Resort Valle Dell Erica - Resort Thalasso & SPA is situated to the north of Palau, on the borders of the National Marine Park of the Archipelago of La Maddalena, right opposite the fascinating uninhabited island of Spargi. It is situated 4 km from the charming village of Porto Pozzo, with its small tourist port and shops and just 12 km from S.Teresa di Gallura, a well-known tourist locality in northern Sardinia facing the Straits of Bonifacio.
The first part of Valle dell Erica, the first tourist village constructed in Sardinia, was built in 1958 (a period when it was still possible to build a few metres from the sea) by the owner of the valley, a pioneer of tourism in Sardinia. Thanks to the fascination of the area and the high quality of the structure built indeed it received a special mention from the President of the Republic Valle dell Erica during the sixties became a very stylish, sought-after venue, and indeed numbered princes and kings among its guests.

The Resort can boast of a truly unique, unrepeatable position, a few metres from a splendid white sand bay and rocks moulded by wind and weather, in natural scenery which is among the most beautiful in Sardinia. Thanks to its extensive spaces, privacy is always guaranteed, and its numerous small bays accessible on foot, its romantic rooms with panoramic verandas, the warm atmosphere of its Thalasso and Spa Center and the services offered by its skilled staff, ensure it is a true oasis of relaxation and pleasure for couples.
The Resort is also an ideal choice for family groups; indeed it has large, secure green and garden areas where the kids can play without disturbing the adults, a large, well-equipped mini club and a splendid kids pool.
Apart from the beauty of the sea and the breathtaking views, it offers an exceptional sea water pool just a few metres from the sea and an outstanding Thalasso & Spa Centre.

The Rooms

140 rooms and Junior suites, all completely refurbished in 2005, located between 80 and 200 m from the sea.
All rooms are on the ground floor, with independent access and furnished in Mediterranean style. They all have a roofed veranda with 2 deck chairs (or 2 chairs and a small table), bathroom with shower and hair dryer, air conditioning, telephone, sat TV, safe, mini bar, beach towels and towelling robes. Sea view against payment of a small supplement. Child s cot to be requested when booking.
Accommodation at Resort Valle dell'Erica Thalasso and Wellness

Single room: (18 m2 + veranda) room with double bed, bathroom with shower (for one adult).

Standard double: (22 m2 + veranda) room with double bed or two twin beds, bathroom with shower (for two adults).

Classic double room: (25 m2 + veranda) this room is more spacious than the former, with double bed or two twin beds, bathroom with shower (for two adults + cot if requested).

Erica Junior suite: (35 m2 + veranda) room with double bed or two twin beds, a small living room with built-in sofa bed, bathroom with shower (for 2-3 persons + cot if requested).

Mirtilla Junior suite: (41 m2 + veranda) room with double bed or two twin beds, living room with two built-in sofa beds, bathroom with shower (for 2-3-4 persons + cot if requested).

President room: (63 m2 + 30 m2 veranda and patio) prestigious room enjoying a splendid view, with large panoramic verandas, two bathrooms and Jacuzzi tub (for 2-3-4 persons + cot if requested).

Benessere: Five wonderful rooms (Giglio/Orchidea) communicating directly with the Wellness Centre and especially suited to couples seeking moments of magic and well being. These are extremely comfortable rooms with beautiful verandas, furnished in a particularly comfortable and exclusive style. Giglio and Orchidea rooms allow free entry to the Centre (adults only and during opening hours), with a Thalasso & Wellness circuit including: cardio-fitness room, multi-function pools, sauna, Turkish bath and relaxation area.

Finally there are also communicating junior suites available
(from the veranda) with double rooms, a particularly suitable solution for large families.

Rooms are available by 3.00 pm on day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00 am on day of departure.
Restaurants

The resort offers the following formulas:
HB formula, with room, breakfast and dinner.
FB formula, with room, breakfast, Mediterranean brunch and dinner.

Breakfast: (07.30-10.30 am):
A rich buffet in the large restaurant with terrace, looking out over unforgettable seascapes.

Dinner (7.30 - 9.30 pm in A and B periods; 8.00 - 9.45 pm in other periods):
In the main restaurant, with a breathtaking view embracing the whole Archipelago, visitors will find a varied, stylish buffet.
Guests will also find a small restaurant room reserved for smokers.
In the second restaurant (booking required, no extra charge), unobtrusive waiter service offering the specialties of our superb chef.
In high season unique, exclusive culinary surprises on the beach, consisting of the day s catch and seafood specialities
(on payment of a supplement).

The Resort also offers (with prior booking to be made on the spot), light menus drawn up together with staff of the Wellness Centre for those of you following the Centre s programmes, with one eye on your figure and the other on your taste buds!. If requested when booking, gluten-free menus are available.

Mediterranean Brunch (12.30 - 2.00 pm in A and B periods; 1.00 - 2.30 pm in other periods):
a light lunch that is also a feast for your taste buds: a buffet of warm pasta dishes, cold dishes based on cereals, pulses and vegetables, salads, fruit and island cheeses; the classic fish and meat-based second courses are not served.
Guests wishing to take excursions in the Gallura area can, on request, take advantage of the Brunch Around formula in the various Delphina hotels (category 4 star, transfers not included).

For guests preferring the HB formula, the Resort s barmen can propose a snack line.

Opening of restaurants is at the Management's discretion.

Not forgetting a pool separate from the main pool for kids of all ages.

GOLF:
Overlooking the sea, surrounded by splendid views, Practice and Chipping Greens are available to our guests inside the Resort (supplement payable). Lessons and golf clubs available on site (pitch).
