The same team that restored the historic Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam has faithfully recreated the former magnificence of the Palais Pannwitz, down to the smallest detail, while Karl Lagerfeld, the guru of haute couture, has placed his unmistakable signature on the interior design.

This sumptuously built mansion, became the seat of the von Pannwitz family in 1914. The magnificent gala dinners given here were the talk of the town. Dinners for 1,000 guests, waited on by 200 servants, were on a scale that even the German Kaiser himself could scarcely muster.

Kaiser Suite
Two king beds with salon, formal dining room - 170 square m. (1,830 square ft.). Two luxurious bedrooms with canopy beds, antique furnishings, palatial high ceilings and original period oil paintings. Elegant salon with oversized silk sofas, crystal chandeliers and executive desk. Historical, wood-panelled library with fresco ceiling can acommodate a conference or elegant private dinner for 12 people.

Marble bathrooms offer ample daylight, overlooking the treetops. Separate guest bathroom adjacent to private foyer. Experience the unique character of this five-room suite and relive the noble grandeur of a 1914 private mansion.

Grand Suite - Library
One king bed with salon, foyer and fireplace - 95 square m. (1,024 square ft.) Spacious, intimate suite, accented with a vaulted ceiling, rounded windows and open fireplace, creates a very cosy atmosphere. Elegant mahogany wood-panelled library, with large executive desk.

Grand Suite - Grunewald
One king bed with salon and foyer - 106 square m. (1,140 square ft.) Extravagant suite with two large-screen TVs with VCR, and Bang & Olufsen equipped entertainment centres. Stunning furnishings and large bathrooms featuring hand-crafted French tiles make this suite the utmost in luxury.

Luxury One-Bedroom Suite
King bed with salon - 65 square m. (700 square ft.). Antique furnishings and plush, richly-hued fabrics. Designer amenities, original period art and antique furnishings. The ideal setting for your most romantic rendezvous. Also available with a large balcony or connecting second bedroom on request.

Two king beds with salon - 95 square m. ( 1,025 square ft.). Windows open to unobstructed views of the gardens.

Executive One-Bedroom Suites
55 to 60 square m. (592 to 646 square ft.) featuring a cosy separate sitting area with opulent décor, original art and antique furnishings. Ideal for work and relaxation.

Grand Deluxe Rooms

30 square m. (323 square ft.) reflecting the elegance of Berlin's royalty at the turn of the 20th century. Writing desk, marble bathrooms featuring heated floors and designer amenities. Windows open fully to either our garden or the prestigious residential area Grunewald.
