Zambia - Botswana

Zambia is the real Africa…a country renowned for its beauty, diversity, culture and friendliness. From relaxing and richly visual adventures – game drives, canoeing safaris and river cruises, - to something a little more energetic - horseback trails, walking safaris, mountain biking and abseiling - to the adrenaline pumping madness of world class white - water rafting and the spectacular Bungi jump of the Victoria Falls Bridge…there is something for everyone!!
Zambia has some of the best views of the magnificent Victoria Falls. Paths along the facing cliffs allow the visitor to see many different angles and in the dry winter months, the lip of the Falls can be traversed up to Livingstone Island (in the middle of the falls), where Dr. Livingstone had his first sighting before naming it after his queen.
The Victoria Falls are at their most spectacular between April and May after the rainy season.

Botswana
is situated on the Chobe River near the borders of Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia and at the confluence of the Chobe and Zambesi Rivers, Kasane is a bustling little town offering access to the Chobe National Park. As there are no boundary fences between the park and the village, game such as elephant and hippo can frequently be seen wandering down the road.
The Chobe National Park covers 11,000 sq km and has one of the greatest concentrations of game found on the African continent. It also contains the highest concentration of elephants in the world, with an estimated winter population of around 25 000. That's more than two per square kilometre.
